Etimologia
Il termine mwewtuile significa "mwfapiastrella" o mwfqmwfgtegola in mwfwlingua francese, e trae il proprio nome proprio dalle tipiche tegole dei tetti, in considerazione della supposta somiglianza.cite-ref-2[2] Sono comunemente aggiunti come contorno per i dolci come la mwhapanna cotta o utilizzati come coppe commestibili per il mwhqgelato o il mwhgsorbettocite-ref-3[3]. Simili alle tuile francesi sono le mwiwmwjategole dolci tipiche della mwjqValle d'Aosta.
Preparazione
Le mwkatuiles sono biscotti sottili.cite-ref-4[4] Per ottenere la tipica forma ricurva, le mwlqtuiles sono solitamente realizzate su superfici come bottiglie o mwlgmattarelli.cite-ref-5[5] In Francia, sono comunemente in commercio anche degli stampi appositi.
